The VOSTA LMG - Karnafuly joint venture consortium ltd. delivered three high quality Cutter Suction Dredgers 450 to Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA). On Wednesday the 18th of January the vessels were inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.
The vessels were built in close co-operation with the local Karnaphuli Shipyard. VOSTA LMG has a cooperation with the shipyard since 2009. The CDS's 450 are the first concrete product of that collaboration. The idea is to make Bangladesh a regional hub for construction of dredgers and dredging equipment.
The delivery of the three units will substantially increase the dredging capacity of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), for dredging the inland waterways in Bangladesh.
Engineering, dredging components and systems were delivered by VOSTA LMG Europe. The building and commissioning of the dredgers was executed under the supervision of VOSTA LMG. The contract for the vessels was signed in November 2009.

Cooperation agreement VOSTA LMG and BEML signed

BEML Limited and VOSTA LMG signed a cooperation agreement for the supply of dredges to Indian end-users on October 10th, 2011. In the presence of Mr. S. Reddy, First Secretary Legal of the Indian Embassy in The Netherlands, the agreement was signed by Mr. V. RS. Natarajan, Chairman and Managing Director of BEML, and Mr. R. Dietze, President and CEO of VOSTA LMG.
VOSTA LMG launches second CSD 750 'Inai Liatree' for Inai Kiara in Malaysia

The second CSD 750 ‘Inai Liatree' for Inai Kiara Sdn Bhd was launched on April 18 in Malaysia. The vessel was built by Selat Melaka Shipbuilding Corporation Sdn Bhd. VOSTA LMG has delivered the design and the full component package for the Inai Liatree. The dredge will be used for local projects and land reclamation near the sea.
VOSTA LMG signed contract for two CSD’s 500 with JMI

The keel laying of two CSD's 500 will take place on Thursday June 2 in Sharjah (UAE). VOSTA LMG signed a contract with Jordan Modern Industries (JMI) for supply of two CSD's 500 in March 2011. The two dredgers will be built at APT Global Marine services LCC, and will be used by the Ministry Of Water Resources / Directorate of Executing Rivers Dredging Works (Iraq) after delivery.
VOSTA LMG has received a repeat order from JMI for a second ‘CSD 600 S’ for delivery to Iraq

VOSTA LMG B.V. has received from Jordan Modern Industries Co. Ltd. (JMI) a repeat order for the delivery of a Dismountable Cutter Suction Dredge, of type ‘CSD 600 S' to the Iraqi market. The turn key project will be executed by VOSTA LMG in co-operation with its co-maker Vantage in Malaysia. The new order (BN 1135) is an exact copy of the ‘CSD 600 S' (BN 1134), for which a contract was signed in May 2010. JMI is VOSTA LMG's business partner for the Iraqi market.
