COUPLING SYSTEMS

Without a proper coupling system, efficient dredge results are unlikely. Secure couplings play an important role in all dredging operations. VOSTA LMG has invested in research and development associated with its range of compatible, technically advanced coupling systems. Fast coupling and uncoupling of floating pipelines, even in heavy weather, is assured. Clever systems that fit every pipe size ensure ease of use. VOSTA Coupling Systems are made with high strength, durable materials and low weight design. The systems range from heavy duty bayonet ball joints and quick release click-in joints for slurry transport pipes to bow couplings.

Ball joints

The standard range of Vosta ball joints is based on a patented bayonet type ball joint that was specifically designed for the demanding circumstances encountered in the dredging industry. The design is well proven in the field and includes a replaceable wear liner in the case (female part) and a pipe through ball construction to protect the ball joint from direct wear.

Click-in coupling

VOSTA LMG is the designer and manufacturer of the patented Vosta click-in couplings. These couplings are designed for transport pipes and are applied under the most difficult working conditions on hopper dredgers, cutter dredgers, in floating pipelines and in alternative offshore applications.

Bow coupling installation

Due to years of experience in supplying bow coupling installations, the VOSTA LMG MK3 bow coupling installation has evolved into a mature product, which is easy to operate and maintenance friendly. Because the MK3 bow coupling is also compatible with other makes of bow couplings, the highest degree of flexibility is achieved.
