VOSTA LMG designs and manufactures tooth systems which can be used on dredge cutter heads, dragheads and cutting wheels (UCW). Most of the cutter heads around the world are equipped with a so-called first or second generation cutting system.
Recently VOSTA LMG has developed a third generation system, called T-series, wich offers many advantages. The T-series will gradually replace the second generation systems (SC/D series). The T- and SC/D adapters are compatible, which entails that existing Vosta cutter bodies can easily be upgraded to the new system. The SC/D series will of course also remain available.

T-series
The world wide patended T-system is the outcome of a research program that started in 1997 under the name D2000 and which is still running. The intention was and still is to develop a cutting system that meets modern demands for economy, safety and ergonomics.
Advantages of the new system compared to any earlier system are:
- Adapter has an extremely long life
Maintenance-free contact surfaces
- Safe (hammerless) and quick replacement of teeth
- Easy handling of teeth (relatively lightweight)
- System is self flushing, no chance of teeth getting stuck
- Very reliable locking
