VOSTA LMG signed on May 21st a contract with INAI KIARA SDN BHD for the delivery of an engineering and components package for two cutter suction dredges (CSD). The yard which will build the CSD750’s will be Port Shipyard & Engineering (PSE) at Kampung Pendamar near Port Kelang in Malaysia. Both CSD’s will be equipped with the latest VOSTA LMG cutting and pumping technology, such as the T-system cutter head, three VL750 dredge pumps and a wire system spud carrier installation.
The CSD750 will have the following main characteristics:
- Length over all: approx 80 m
- Breadth, moulded: approx 15 m
- Total installed power: 9.300 kW
- Dredging depth: max. 22 m
- Diameter mixture pipes: 750 mm
- Cutter power: 1.000 kW
