VOSTA LMG sliding pieces are designed for heavy duty operation and have sufficient strength to carry the full load of the whole side suction pipe.

The sliding piece enables the side suction pipe to be lowered below the water line before the suction opening in the hull. The trunion bend is fixed in the sliding piece with a machined flange and can rotate freely with the side suction pipe. 

The standard range of the sliding pieces is DN 600 up to DN 1000. Other suction diameters and jet water diameters can be designed.
