VOSTA LMG has two different sets of roots in both The Netherlands and Germany
1873
The Lübecker Maschinenbau Gesellschaft (LMG) established in Lübeck, North Germany. Main activities include construction of dredgers and excavators.
The components required for equipment of this kind are manufactured almost exclusively at the Lübeck facility.
1903
Stapel Shipyard established in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. Originally a true shipyard, their specialty soon becomes designing and building dredges.
1937
Vos Machine Works established in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands
1950
O&K merges with LMG, in business under the name O&K Werke Lübeck

1993
O&K taken over by the German Industrial Group Krupp and renamed business unit Krupp Fördertechnik GmbH with among others the division Marine Technology (MT) in Lübeck.
1993
Dredge building divisions of Stapel Shipyard and Vos Machine Works join forces to form VOSTA BV.
1995
VOSTA BV acquired by Krupp Fördertechnik GmbH and Krupp VOSTA BV was established.
2000
Krupp sells shares of Krupp Fördertechnik MT to the Germany- based Investment & Holding company NordGB. Krupp Fördertechnik MT resumes operating under the name LMG. LMG organization split up into two departments: LMG Industrial Services (machine works) and LMG Marine Technology (Contracting & Engineering)
Krupp also sells the shares of Krupp Vosta to NordGB, the company is renamed VOSTA.
2002
The LMG Marine Technology Department, designers and suppliers of dredging equipment merges with VOSTA BV in Amsterdam, the Netherlands to form VOSTA LMG BV. Although a new name, the company embodies decades of experience and expertise.
2003
In the autumn of 2003, a 100% subsidiary VOSTA Inc. is established. VOSTA Inc. is responsible for the development of sales of VOSTA LMG equipment and components in North America and Canada.
2006/2007
We set up a wholly owned subsidiary in Zhuhai in addition to the already for many years existing Representative Office in Beijing.
2007
In 2007 VOSTA LMG started an office in New Delhi, India.
2008
In spring 2008 VOSTA LMG opened its branch office in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai.
